My name is Mark Burrows of Redlynch Farm and together with my wife Sharon, we started our own adventure with chickens over 25 years ago with a trio of Bantams at the bottom of our garden. We have never been without chickens since!!. We stock a wide range of hens for sale.

We are always happy to give friendly helpful advice on all aspects of chicken keeping, should you require it and in turn give you the confidence to start your own adventure and after you have purchased your hens from us you do so safe in the knowledge that we will give you support and advice for the lifetime of your own happy, healthy egg laying hens.
Where We’re Based
Our poultry business is conveniently situated at the bottom of the Lincolnshire Wolds about 10 miles north of Boston. We specialise in supplying our customers with superior quality hybrid point of lay chickens. There are several breeds and different colours for you to choose from. Why not take a look at our Point of Lay (POL) Hens?
Our point of lay hybrids are 16+ weeks of age and usually start to lay eggs between 23 - 26 weeks depending on the time of year. The hens can be mixed together to provide a lovely range of colours in your flock, and also produce white, brown, dark brown & blue/green eggs. Most will lay a whopping 250-300 eggs a year - that’s almost one a day!

We provide free friendly advice and a full after sales support for the life time of your hens. Sharon and I pride ourselves on good old fashioned service and nothing is too much trouble to us if it helps our customers.
We are passionate about animal welfare and ensuring quality of life for our hens. All our chickens are professionally reared to freedom food and Lion code standards with comprehensive vaccination and blood testing programmes completed, so you can be sure you’ll be getting great quality hens when you buy from us.
We usually have a new flock of hybrid hens available at the end of every month, so we can provide chickens all year round.
Unfortunately we are not able to take reservations in advance for our Chickens For Sale, so please ring for current availability, in the event that we have sold out of the hens you require, then please email us with the details of your requirements, we will then inform you via email or by phone when the hens are available.

We can arrange a collection outside these times, however please contact us to make arrangements.
Collections – When you come to collect your hens, please bring a cardboard box or pet carrier with you to take your hens home. (A crisp box will hold two hens)
Note: Although we do stock lots of types of hens, we don’t sell any bantams, pure or rare breeds, ducks or cockerels.
